The platform in plain English
This page explains the platform the way we’d explain it to someone who has never worked in government contracting. No background knowledge assumed.
What this platform is
Section titled “What this platform is”Government agencies buy things through public competitions: they post an announcement describing what they need, companies respond with proposals, and the government picks a winner. Most of that process is paperwork, finding the right announcements, reading long documents, building cost estimates, writing proposals, tracking compliance, and filing records.
GovConHouse is software that does the mechanical parts of that work for you. It finds the announcements, summarizes them, helps you decide which ones are worth pursuing, drafts the documents, checks the math, and keeps every compliance record in one place. A human reviews everything before it goes anywhere, the platform prepares, you decide.
The core services, one line each
Section titled “The core services, one line each”- Opportunity search, pulls federal contract announcements from SAM.gov, USASpending, and FPDS automatically, so you see new opportunities in one list instead of five government websites.
- Pipeline, your board of pursuits, from “saw it” to “won it”, with the next action for each.
- Bid packets, one folder per pursuit holding everything: the solicitation, your pricing, your proposal drafts, your team, and your past-performance references.
- Proposal generation, reads the solicitation, plans the required sections, drafts each one, checks its own factual claims against real sources, and hands the result to you for review and edits.
- Pricing and IGCE, builds line-item cost estimates and compares them with government benchmarks so your number is defensible.
- Compliance center, tracks CMMC self-assessment, SPRS scoring, FAR/DFARS clause checking, and FedRAMP paperwork against real requirements, never invented ones.
- Past performance, keeps your record of completed work ready to cite in the next proposal.
- Win room, everything about a live pursuit in one place: win probability, competitors, teaming, and strategy notes.
- Awards and submissions, tracks what you submitted, when, and what came back, so nothing is forgotten.
Why it matters day to day
Section titled “Why it matters day to day”If you’re a prime (you hold the contract directly): your day is spent finding opportunities early, pricing them credibly, and getting submission-ready documents out fast without a typo or an unsupported claim. This platform turns “open five tabs, copy, paste, retype” into “review the draft and approve”.
If you’re a small or mid-size business: the same tools that large teams have, compliance tracking, cost benchmarks, structured proposals, without hiring a full capture team. The pass-through model matters most here: the platform never pretends to be your compliance officer. It prepares the evidence and the documents; your own senior official signs and submits, exactly as the rules require.
How the pass-through works, in plain language
Section titled “How the pass-through works, in plain language”Think of the platform as a drafting desk, not a stamp.
- You give it inputs, your company details, your evidence documents, the solicitation text.
- It computes and drafts, scores, summaries, proposal sections, compliance documents, each one traceable to a real source or rule.
- You review, every generated document shows its sources and flags anything unsupported. Nothing is marked done until you say so.
- You sign and submit, affirmations, SPRS scores, and FedRAMP packages go to the government from you, with your official signing. The platform never signs or submits on your behalf.
That boundary is deliberate. The government’s rules attach responsibility to whoever actually holds data and signs documents. This platform is built so the customer stays in that seat: your data is isolated from every other customer’s data, the platform claims no certification it doesn’t hold, and every “you must sign this yourself” point is labeled in the product.
What the platform explicitly is NOT
Section titled “What the platform explicitly is NOT”- Not a certified assessor. It does not issue CMMC, FedRAMP, or any other certification.
- Not your signatory. It never affirms, signs, or submits anything to the government on your behalf.
- Not a data repository for classified or ITAR-controlled material. The product refuses those use cases rather than handling them carelessly.
If you ever see the product say otherwise, tell us, that’s a bug, not a feature.
